Sunday 18th of August
$45 - Including light refreshments | A range of Herbal teas
In this Winter mini-retreat, we will combine a dynamic flowing practice where we move with our breath, with a series of postures that are held for longer periods of time. We will also put into practice some mindfulness exercises to learn how to find the calm whenever we need to.
This will be both an invigorating and a nurturing practice.
Suitable for: all levels (no yoga experience required)
These retreats will also end with a selection of organic herbal teas and light refreshments whilst you stay back and have a chat with everyone and explore Nest Gallery and Design Studio
Teacher | Grace Chua
Grace’s yoga journey started 10 years ago and at that time, her practice was purely physical as it kept her strong and flexible. After practicing yoga throughout her three pregnancies, she realised that her practice has moved beyond the physical and it was helping her manage the challenges of pregnancy and motherhood.
In 2015, Grace fell in love with the Ashtanga method. The simplicity of the method brought a certain level of calmness and predictability to her otherwise chaotic life with 3 children. Her new-found love for pottery has also taught her that everything when done mindfully is a moving mediation, just like her yoga practice.
Grace enjoys teaching a strong vinyasa class but also embraces the importance of slowing down and doing what the body needs. Her passion lies in supporting women through the stages of pregnancies and motherhood hence one of her favourite classes to teach are pregnancy, and mums and bubs yoga. She loves to see the smiles on the mums' faces at the end of a class, knowing that they have stepped off the mat feeling more relaxed and rested.
Grace is a level 1 registered yoga teacher with over 1000 hours of training, including specialising in Pregnancy and postnatal yoga.
